Write your math and ideas like a pro!
Wednesday, September 18, 2024 · 12 - 1 PM
The Math Honor Society is hosting its yearly LaTeX seminar again!
Come to learn how to type up your results and homeworks in a professional manner, or how to make a research paper like a pro! We will be going over the foundational components of LaTeX using Overleaf, an online compiler that's free to use. For those new and comfortable with the basics, this is a great way to get started and expand on the capabilities you are used to. There will be time for questions at the end, and the seminar will be interactive - ask your questions as we go!
LaTeX is the standard for writing research in math, statistics, physics, engineering, chemistry, computer science, and more! We present the information in a very friendly and interactive way, so people wanting to write up their research for a journal or those wanting to make their homeworks a look a bit nicer will leave the seminar with the tools they need to make it happen!
