The Secretary’s Advisory Committee on Human Research Protections (SACHRP) is a federal advisory committee that provides advice and recommendations to the Secretary of HHS on issues pertaining to the protection of human subjects in research.
The committee meets three times a year and are open to the public. This month's meeting (July 21 and July 22, 2021) will discuss issues relevant to research conducted with such as artificial intelligence in human research, what it means to be "engaged" in human subjects research, and justice as an ethical concept when working with human research participants. The meeting times for both days are 11:00 am to 4:30 pm.
