Explore the idea of attending the 2025 APSA (American Physician Scientists Association) Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference at UPenn in Philadelphia on June 21st (Saturday), 2025! Transportation round-trip from UMBC will be provided. Details may be found here.
Please note that this event will take place from the early morning (bus will leave at 6:15AM) through the evening (returning to UMBC around 7pm or later). Additionally, keep in mind that this conference will take place over the summer. You don’t necessarily need to be living on campus, but if you intend to take transportation with the group, you will need to be able to commit to being on campus by around 6:00AM to do so. Of course, you are free to secure your own transportation to the event, if you so choose.
Consider your summer commitments before signing up. If you will be involved in research this summer, be sure to check with your PI about whether you would be free to attend this event. It is on a Saturday, but it’s possible that your program may have a conflicting event or requirement on that day.
