What does it really mean to be a physician-scientist? Wondering what the path looks like—and how you might become one too?
The American Physician Scientist Association (APSA) invites you to A Day in the Life of a Physician-Scientist on October 30th from 7–9 PM EST. The event will feature a student panel of MD/PhD trainees followed by a Fireside Chat with Ginny Bumgardner, MD, PhD, a surgeon-scientist who integrates clinical care and discovery. Join the session to explore the career path, hear personal insights, and learn what it takes to bridge science and medicine!
To register, or for more information about ASPA sessions, as well as a pre-med application FAQ document, please visit their website: https://www.physicianscientists.org/page/interactive-sessions. They have webinars planned for multiple stages of training, with topics ranging from finding your first research experience and applying to dual degree programs, to medical board exam prep and applying to residency programs (also check out their Youtube page at https://www.youtube.com/@PhysicianscientistsOrg!)
