Good morning PSI CHI Members!
I hope you all are having an amazing morning. I just wanted to update you all on the progress of the induction ceremony preparations. I am aware that this message is very long but it is essential that you read ALL of it, as there is information pertinent to receiving your PSI CHI regalia. We have made significant progress on setting up an in-person event, securing a time, and a location despite the challenges that we have faced. We have a deadline of this weekend (Sunday, April 3rd) to try and order all the induction certificates and graduation cord regalia for all the members who have not been inducted. We have carried out a fundraiser earlier in the month in order to fund this important event, but we still haven't met our goal of $1000 to put on this event. We are down to the last stage of ordering the regalia, but we need YOUR help to move forward.
Our friends and fellow members, I am personally asking if you can help by donating $10/$20/$100, whatever you can, to help us reach our fundraising goal on time and make our collective dream a reality: together I know we can do this. We got into PSI CHI, now join me in celebrating that amazing accomplishment!! Thank you in advance for all your support. Here are the forms of payment that we accept:
CashApp: $ayliahdr
PayPal: @ayliahdr
Venmo: @ayliahdr
Zelle: 240-241-3940
Finally, when we order the certificates, we need a certain amount of information which has been detailed out in this Google Forms (https://forms.gle/Q7fZynSwsUNkDBCk9). To receive a certificate, you must respond to this Google Form by Sunday, April 3rd, NO EXCEPTIONS. The reason I say this is we have to allow time for ordering, processing, and shipping.
With all of that being said, I am happy to say that there will STILL be an Induction regardless of whether or not we are able to get certificates and cords for you all. In the case we aren't able to get the certificates and cords, we would have refreshments served at the event and have each of your names honored by calling them out and receiving an official PSI CHI Lapel Pin. We will do our very best to make sure you are properly honored as this is a major accomplishment and from the very beginning of my time as President, I have made a commitment to try and get this Induction done.
I apologize for such a long email, but I just wanted to be transparent with you all with the progress that is being made. I look forward to seeing you all at the Induction very soon and if you have any questions, feel free to ask any of the officers. Stay tuned for more emails as we have some very interesting events planned for the month of April. I wish you the best of luck of your semester and future endeavors!!
Your Chapter President,
Ahmad Ndir
