Join the UMBC McNair Scholars Program Open House to learn how you can achieve your graduate school dreams!
The Ronald E. McNair Post-Baccalaureate Achievement Program is a federally-funded TRIO program dedicated to preparing high-achieving, first-generation, low-income, and/or underrepresented students for doctoral studies.
At McNair, you get:
Support in securing faculty-mentored research opportunities and stipends
Preparation for GRE exams and graduate school applications
Travel to present research at conferences and visit grad schools
Holistic, personal advising and mentorship
Current GPN Retrievers interested in applying to be a McNair Scholar should also attend one of these open house sessions!
