The UMBC McNair Scholars Research Institute (SRI) is a semester-long research experience that provides scholars the opportunity for interpersonal development, cultural enrichment, and skillful mastery while working with a Faculty Research Mentor on a research project. This experience serves to help improve the scholars’ competitiveness for the graduate school process, and provides financial compensation for McNair Scholars to conduct their research. During this spring semester, we have 9 McNair Scholars participating in SRI and they will be presenting their research at Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement Day (URCAD) from April 19 to April 25. To read more information about their research, checkout our SRI Fellows flyer, and feel free to stop by their presentations by clicking here.
