The Maryland Public Health Association (MdPHA) is excited to offer an internship opportunity for students passionate about public health. The Communications Intern will gain hands-on experience from April to June 2025, with mentorship, skill development, and exposure to various public health practices.
Key Opportunities:
Develop skills in research, data analysis, advocacy, and project management.
Work on meaningful public health initiatives and communications projects.
Receive mentorship from experienced public health professionals.
Build your professional network through workshops and training.
Program Highlights:
Contribute to community outreach, policy advocacy, and event coordination.
Participate in training and refine your skills through feedback from mentors.
Present your work in a final portfolio.
Eligibility:
Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in public health or related fields.
Strong communication, organizational skills, and a passion for public health.
Must live in or attend school in Maryland.
Compensation:
Paid ($17/hour, 10-15 hours/week) and unpaid options available. Academic credit may be offered.
