The Maryland Public Health Association (MdPHA) is excited to offer an internship opportunity for students passionate about public health. The Communications Intern will gain hands-on experience from April to June 2025, with mentorship, skill development, and exposure to various public health practices.

Key Opportunities:

• Develop skills in research, data analysis, advocacy, and project management.

• Work on meaningful public health initiatives and communications projects.

• Receive mentorship from experienced public health professionals.

• Build your professional network through workshops and training.

Program Highlights:

• Contribute to community outreach, policy advocacy, and event coordination.

• Participate in training and refine your skills through feedback from mentors.

• Present your work in a final portfolio.

Eligibility:

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in public health or related fields.

• Strong communication, organizational skills, and a passion for public health.

• Must live in or attend school in Maryland.

Compensation:
Paid ($17/hour, 10-15 hours/week) and unpaid options available. Academic credit may be offered.
