AEFP 44th Annual Conference Kansas City Marriott Downtown -
Building the Connections between Research and Policy
Association for Education, Finance and Policy (AEFP)
AEFP is pleased to announce its call for proposals for the 44th Annual Conference in Kansas City, MO. March 21-23, 2019. Submissions will be accepted for individual papers, posters, and policy talks at https://aefpweb.org/conferences/call-for-proposals from Monday, October 1 through Friday, November 9, 2018.
The 44th conference theme is Building the Connections Between Research and Policy. AEFP has a strong history of providing a place where researchers and policy makers can learn from each other. This year's conference will build on that tradition in the concurrent sessions, the policy talks, and the keynote speech by Diane Schanzenbach, a past director of the Hamilton Project and the current director of the Institute for Policy Research at Northwestern University.
AEFP is seeking graduate students to serve on two Board committees for the 2018-19 school year. The program committee would like two student representatives to advise on the overall plans for the 2019 conference, and the membership committee would like two to three representatives to advise on student-oriented programming and supports.
