Sharing on behalf of a colleague for anyone who may be interested in a higher level of summer writing accountability:
If you are a staff or faculty member who would like to have accountability partners to help stay on task with your scholarly productivity, you are invited to participate in SWAG - the Summer Writing Accountability Group.
With SWAG, you will form a small group of no more 4 other scholars who will check in with one another either in-person or via conference/video call (whichever you prefer) once per week for 9 weeks between June 4 and August 3.
The primary focus of SWAG is not to coach, offer feedback, or give comments on drafts of other people's writing - it is solely focused on helping you to establish the habit of daily writing and move the status of your scholarly projects from "in progress" to "completed".
If you are not able to sustain the weekly commitment for the duration of the 9 weeks, SWAG may not be for you. To learn more about the structure of SWAG and how best to maximize the opportunity, there will be an interest/orientation meeting on Wednesday, May 30 at 10:00am in Sondheim 414.
Please complete this brief survey to help us organize this summer's SWAG experience: Brief S.W.A.G. Survey.
