Each year, TurnAround publishes the Purple Poetry Book, a collection of original poetry, artwork, and short stories inspired by the movement to end sexual and intimate partner violence. 2021 will be the12th year running. This year’s theme is Time and Space–giving ourselves space to reflect on our past, honor our present, and give ourselves grace as we move into the future. Written for survivors and by survivors, the Purple Poetry Book is more than a book – it is a support system. Survivors, their loved ones, and allies within the movement are invited to join and share their story.
