If you are wondering what SADNET is, it's our club's server network, consisting of two enterprise-grade servers running right here on campus! Within it, any member with a SAD account (that's you) can create VMs (Virtual Machines) and containers, set up services, fiddle with networking, and so on. Think of it as a student-run Cloud! It's completely free to everyone, and you can do some really cool stuff like run your own website or game server. We'll walk you guys through the the log in process during the meeting, but if you want to get a head start, go ahead and install an OpenVPN Client. We'll also explain a little bit about whats going on behind the scenes and how to use the hypervisor, Proxmox.
