SAD x STARS: Programming Prix
Compete for podium in our programming problem race!
Start your engines! SAD and STARS are collaborating to bring you The Programming Prix!
Ever heard of daunting coding questions that many face during interviews? Want to get a taste of that rush in a competitive environment? Come to our event! The event is geared for all programming experience levels, so if you're just starting out or already a beast at programming, come and compete!
The event consists of answering questions on Kattis: An online competitive programming platform, and an explanation of your response to the problem. We do not outright ban AI for this event, but be prepared for the explanation part! A good explanation is worth more than the correct solution!
There'll be snacks and drinks, and sweet prizes to compete for! Gaming peripherals, USB drives, and more!
The competition will run Friday Nov. 13th from 1PM to 5PM. Winners will be announced 4 hours after starting.
Sign ups are at the door, just make sure you can sign into Kattis.
Questions? Ask away in the SAD or STARS discord!
See you there!
