We are excited to announce, we have partnered with Sustainability Matters at UMBC, Residential Student Association, and UMBC Dining to provide a residential composting program. This will allow students living on campus to collect organic waste in their residences to be composted.
Any student living on-campus in the residential halls, apartments, and Walker Avenue Apartments, who are willing to go through proper training to participate in composting. Upon signing up, students will receive a 2.6 gallon bucket, compostable bags, and 1-page information sheet on composting for their dorm or apartment for the reminder of the school year. This is a pilot program, only a small number of students will be able to participate on a first come first serve basis, so check the link in our bio to sign up now!
