The Make Your Mark Leadership Scholarship Fund was established in 2021, by the UMBC SGA in recognition of the undergraduate student leaders’ contributions to UMBC and their respective communities. Whether you are an athlete or a student agent of change, we all make our mark in our respective communities in one way or another. The Make Your Mark Leadership Scholarship is aimed to recognize the many types of leadership experiences our UMBC Undergraduates harbor. The purpose of the award is to recognize UMBC students with proven leadership achievements (minimum 2.25 grade point average), At least a semester before expected graduation and have made valuable contributions to their respective communities. While financial need will be a consideration, it WILL NOT be the deciding factor in granting the award(s). Applications should be submitted to Scholarship Retriever. Selection of a student or students for the award will be made by the selection committee, chaired by the UMBC SGA Executive President and the SGA Advisor. Application deadlines will be clarified on Scholarship Retriever.
