Are you looking for a meaningful paid opportunity where you can use your skills to make a direct impact on families and communities?
B2G Learning Centers is seeking undergraduate teaching assistants to support digital and technology education at three learning centers in Annapolis, Maryland. B2G’s mission is to reduce educational, health, and financial disparities by providing technology training to heads of households in low-income communities. By helping adults build digital and computational skills, B2G empowers families to create learning ecosystems that can strengthen entire neighborhoods.
Teaching assistants will work alongside an instructor to help participants develop practical skills using computers and cell phones.
Position details:
$18 per hour
Approximately 5–8 hours per week, including preparation time
10-week commitment beginning the week of September 6
In person at one of three locations in Annapolis, Maryland
Reliable transportation is required
No programming experience is necessary—only basic computer and cell phone skills
As part of the experience, you will also work toward earning a CIRTL certification at no cost to you. The certification and training will be provided through UMBC and can help strengthen your teaching, communication, and leadership skills.
