The death toll in Gaza continues to rise past 30,000 everyday with the bombing of schools, hospitals, and refugee camps. Occupation forces are indiscriminately murdering women, children, journalists, aid workers, and innocent civilians. Each of the 15,000 flags we displayed on Erickson field represents more than 2 Palestinians killed in the ongoing genocide.
How many more Palestinian lives must be lost for our leaders to speak up about these blatant crimes against humanity?
As UMBC students we refuse to remain silent at the sight of these atrocities and will continue to advocate for peace and liberation in Palestine
