Are you interested in becoming a Board Member of the Social Work Student Association (SWSA) for the 2024 2025 school year? Please nominate yourself by emailing Dr Ekas (aekasm@umbc.edu)
All Social Work Student Association Executive Board positions are open for next year and the positions include:
- PRESIDENT
- VICE PRESIDENT
- SECRETARY
- TREASURER
- PUBLIC RELATIONS
- SERVICE CHAIR
To become a Board Member you need to…
- have a minimum 2.5 GPA in order to serve;
- commit time weekly to meetings and services events;
- be a social work major; and
- be an active SWSA member
Please send your name, the position you are interested in, your current year (freshman, sophomore, etc.), and 2-3 examples of what you would like to accomplish in that position to Dr. Ekas at aekasm@umbc.edu no later than March 15th.
All active members will be sent a ballot via google forms and the voting period will be from March the 25th - 29th.
