Student Disability Services is operating remotely during the physical closure of the UMBC campus for the remainder of the Spring 2020 semester. Disability accommodations stay in effect during remote operations.
Important to note:
1. The SDS website has a "business continuity" posting on our landing page. Important info and resources will continue to be updated there.
2. As of March 19th, SDS staff are in the process of updating other pages of the SDS website, meanwhile if you are unable to find updated info, please email us at disability@umbc.edu, also scroll down through the continuity page at sds.umbc.edu.
3. All SDS staff are still working remotely. You may email us individually, but for general information, please email disability@umbc.edu since staff will be constantly checking that email throughout the day during business hours. You may also call 410-455-2459 between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm Monday through Friday.
4. SDS staff are available for online or phone appointments. If you are an SDS-registered student, please use Accommodate to book an appointment - enter your phone number in the notes. If you need assistance in booking an appointment with staff, please email disability@umbc.edu or call 410-455-2459.
