Leveraging Power for Enhanced Change Management
Find your calm in a state of constant turbulence
Is the pace of change dizzying? Do you find it challenging to lead within your sphere amidst transitions in personnel and an organizational culture that seems to be shifting? This workshop, facilitated by Wanda Savage-Moore of Polarity Partnerships, will help us explore Polarity ThinkingTM as a tool to help us leverage our own stability as we pursue desired change. Polarity ThinkingTM involves being able to see our reality through a Both/And lens, as a supplement to our more common Either/Or framing. By examining our values, fears, and perspectives using Polarity Tools, we are able to more clearly discern the pros and cons of interdependent approaches, develop transformational strategies, and obtain mutually satisfying outcomes. This experiential workshop will delve into Polarities such as:
- Ensuring Stability AND Actively Evolving
- Leading Others AND Empowering Others
- Being Self-Confident AND Pursuing Learning/Growth
- Sharing Your Truth AND Hearing Other's Realities
This workshop was specifically created for leaders within shared governance at UMBC. For more information about attending, contact Jeff Cullen, jcullen@umbc.edu, 410-455-8755
