Join Elaine MacDougall for a discussion about teaching currently incarcerated students. We will explore the benefits of higher education programs in prison and consider possibilities for bringing a program like The Inside-Out Prison Exchange Program to UMBC.
Bio:
Elaine MacDougall is a lecturer in the English department and Assistant Director of the Writing Center at UMBC. She is also a doctoral student in the Language, Literacy, and Culture program and teaches writing classes to currently incarcerated students.
