How Social Movements are Propelled on College Campuses
Wednesday, June 26, 2024 · 12 - 1 PM
Join us this summer for a series of fun and educational virtual events for the UMBC community.
Students, faculty, and staff — bring your own lunch and stay connected with the UMBC academic community.
So much social and political change has been nurtured on college campuses, and social movements have often been pushed forward by college students. Join Dr. Kate Drabinski and students from her course on feminist activism for a conversation about the history and present of college student activism and how that activism is seen and understood by different constituencies.
