From the first day of classes in 1966 with a small group of forty-five professors and just three buildings, the University of Maryland, Baltimore County has become a vibrant and populated campus. Come along on this one hour walking tour and explore the now-historic UMBC campus and its innovative art and architecture.
Bio:
Lindsey Loeper ’04, American studies, has served as the archivist in the Albin O. Kuhn Library & Gallery’s Special Collections department since 2007. She played an active role in UMBC’s 50th anniversary celebrations including co-curating the exhibit Sharing the Past, Building the Future: UMBC at 50 with former Chief Curator Tom Beck.
