ANCS 350 concentrates on the practical magic and curses used daily in the ancient Mediterranean, and its connection to astrology, dream-interpretation, and fortune telling in medicine and philosophy. This is a hybrid courses. Students will participate in online discussions as well as in-class lectures/debates
