Explore ancient stories of demons, ghosts, vampires, werewolves, sorcery, and witchcraft.
ANCS 350 concentrates on the practical magic and curses used daily in the ancient Mediterranean, and its connection to astrology, dream-interpretation, and fortune telling in medicine and philosophy. This is a hybrid courses. Students will participate in online discussions as well as in-class lectures/debates
