AGE RESTRICTIONS
You are welcome to bring your family and friends. Children under 16 are welcome if they are supervised and accompanied by an adult volunteer.
WHAT TO WEAR:
Wear comfortable waterproof shoes and clothes that can get dirty or wet. We recommend our volunteers wear long pants and shirt, so any prickly underbrush or insects won't bother you, and water proof shoes or boots to keep your feet dry if you are willing to go in the stream to remove invasive ivy or remove some trash!
WHAT TO BRING:
We do have some tools, but appreciate when volunteers bring their own; otherwise, you will be using your hands or will have to need to share with others who don't bring them. Pleasemark your name on any tools/equipment you bring with permanent marker so in case we find them later, we can be sure to return them to you!
IMPORTANT: We desperately rakes, pruners and other garden tools you think would come in handy to remove weeds around the trees!!!
We also appreciate and recommend you bring your own work gloves, water/drink, sunscreen and insect repellent. If you are allergic to insect bites or stings, please bring any needed medications and notify the tree captain of your allergy.
There are no nearby restrooms available, so please plan accordingly.
