Undergraduate Classification of Juniors and Seniors need only to apply. Graduate Students will not be considered for this internship.
Student interns will participate in a cross-departmental experience in business functions that support the mission of a higher education institution.
Over the course of the academic year, the intern will work in 2-4 different functions, in the Student Business Services Office. The intern will gain a broad perspective on the critical administrative functions that support the academic mission in higher education and the positive aspects of a career in the business of higher education.
Student Business Services
The Student Business Services Internship will involve the intern in the various aspects of student account activity. This will include student account charges and payments processing, student account receivable reconciliations, student billing, and the analysis and communication skills necessary for success in university administration. The intern will gain an understanding of the interdependent relationship of these areas essential to support effective and efficient financial operations.
