Theatrical Intimacy, Theatrical Violence, & Instructional Touch Policy Quiz 2026
REQUIRED of All UMBC Theatre Majors and Minors
ALL CURRENT UMBC THEATRE MAJORS AND MINORS ARE REQUIRED TO:
- Read our new Theatrical Intimacy, Theatrical Violence, & Instructional Touch Policy for the Department.
- Pass this multiple choice quiz with at least an 80% (9 out of 11) to demonstrate comprehension.
Failure to do so will affect your eligibility to participate in classwork and productions for the Spring 2027 semester.
This is a new policy, and a new quiz, so even if you've taken a similar quiz in the past, you must complete this one - the new policy is MUCH more robust than our former policy from 2019.
The new policy is attached to this post, and can also always be found on this page of our website: Policies for Current Students. As a UMBC Theatre student, you are responsible for knowing this information, and for maintaining a culture of consent within our theatre community.
This quiz must be completed by: 5:00pm on Wednesday, October 7th.
