REMINDER: Applications Open for IMPACT Lab 26/27

Applications are now open for the IMPACT Lab AY 26/27!

The IMPACT Lab is a new interdisciplinary creative lab at UMBC bringing together students across Theatre, Music, Visual Arts, Dance, and other creative disciplines to experiment, collaborate, and create new performance work.

Students will have the opportunity to work across disciplines, receive mentorship and will receive project funding, and the chance to develop their work through a residency with a final presentation at The Voxel in Baltimore.

We are accepting applications for two pathways:

• PROPOSE: Have an idea for an interdisciplinary project and want to develop it? This could be something you're working on now, or that idea in the back of your mind you’ve always wanted to start.
• PARTICIPATE: Want to just participate in the lab and create a project from the ground up?

We are looking for curious, collaborative, and adventurous artists interested in experimenting across disciplines from performance and choreography to music, design, film, animation, technology, sculpture, writing, and beyond.

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY

Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate Students are eligible for both pathways.
Sophomores are eligible for the PARTICIPATE category only.
First-year students are not eligible to PARTICIPATE IN THE LAB
