Green Dot Program Overview
1-hr Workshop For Faculty and Staff
Wednesday, March 6, 2013 · 12 - 1 PM
Have you ever been in a situation where you have seen something that you know isn’t safe but haven’t known what to do? Green Dot teaches you to be an active bystander because no one has to do everything but everyone has to do something. What’s your Green Dot?
Green Dot is a program that teaches UMBC community members how to be active bystanders, to react to and prevent situations that have the potential for violence and proactively build a culture that does not tolerate violence. Come to this one hour overview session to learn more about Green Dot, why it’s important and skills to make our community safer.
Registration for this workshop is now closed.
If you are not able to come to the overview but want more information on Green Dot, please contact Jennifer Treger in Student Affairs: jtreger@umbc.edu or 5-3797.
