Coping During COVID-19
Strategies and Resources for UMBC Faculty & Staff
Life is full of unprecedented challenges today that are affecting us both individually and collectively in seen and unseen ways. Dealing with the ever changing reality of COVID and the critical national conversations about racial injustice create a level of uncertainty, fear, and complexity that left untended, can cause suffering and paralysis.
In this 90 minute webinar with The Counseling & Health’s Bruce Herman and HR's Jill Wardell, we will collectively discuss these challenges, identify stressors, explore a variety of coping strategies, share existing campus and other resources, and take stock of what's working for each of us. While pain is unavoidable, suffering is optional. Together, we can support each other and share strategies to address challenges.
Registration is required. Participants will receive a link with the credentials for the session 24 hours beforehand.
