2027 Open Enrollment Fairs - On-site & Virtual
Get a chance to meet with the State's benefit vendors!
Open Enrollment is coming! Open Enrollment 2027 runs from Monday, October 19th to Friday, November 13th @ 5pm. To make changes to your benefits, login to your SPS Workday account!
The Open Enrollment Fairs are held to give Maryland State Employees the opportunity to learn more about the benefit vendors that the State has to offer.
On-site Fairs:
The following in-person Open Enrollment Fairs will be held at the following MD State Agencies and USM Institutions (addresses and locations in flyers below):
- Monday, 10/19/26 | 10am to 1pm | Montgomery County Circuit, Register of Wills, and District Court
- Wednesday, 10/21/26 | 10am to 2pm | University of Maryland, College Park
- Thursday, 10/22/26 | 10am to 1pm | Washington County Department of Human Services/ Social Services
- Friday, 10/23/26 | 10am to 1pm | Allegany College of Maryland
- Monday, 10/26/26 | 10am to 1pm | Prince George’s County Department of Human Services
- Tuesday, 10/27/26 | 10am to 1pm | Motor Vehicle Administration (MVA)
- Wednesday, 10/28/26 | 10am to 1pm | Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA)
- Friday, 10/30/26 | 10am to 1pm | Maryland Judicial Center
- Monday, 11/2/26 | 10am to 1pm | Frederick State Highway Administration (SHA), District 7 5111 Buckeystown Pike F
- Wednesday, 11/4/26 | 10am to 1pm | Salisbury University
- Friday, 11/6/26 | 10am to 1pm | Town of Easton
- Monday, 11/9/26 | 10am to 1pm | St. Mary’s County Department of Social Services (DSS)
Virtual Fairs:
The virtual sessions will be hosted across 5 days (details below) and held every 30 minutes beginning at 9:30am and concluding at 3pm. Links to join these sessions can be found in the linked flyers below.
*(Please note: While UMBC employees are not eligible for MyMDCARES, all other listed benefits apply. Instead, USM employees can access free support through the Employee Assistance Program (EAP))*
- Tuesday, October 20th, from 9:30am to 3pm.
