In an ongoing effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, all students, faculty and staff are now required to wear a KN95 mask while onboard our buses and shared spaces at all times. Riders must keep their face mask on for the entire duration of the trip.
This action supports the United States Transportation Security Administration's Security Directive 1582/84-21-01B, which is currently effective until March 18, 2022. The full text of the Directive can be viewed at https://www.tsa.gov/sites/default/files/tsa-210819-6_4_3-sd-1582-84-21-01b.pdf.
This directive also follows UMBC commitment to protect our community members. Riders are encouraged to visit Retriever Ready: COVID-19 Response at covid19.umbc.edu or call UMBC Police at 410-455-5555, if you have an emergency.
