We hope this message finds you well. We wanted to inform you about an upcoming Baltimore County Department of Public Works and Transportation (DPWT) initiative that may impact your daily commute.
Starting tomorrow, February 22, 2024, DPWT will be implementing traffic calming measures along East Drive in Arbutus. The construction will include the installation of a raised intersection and two raised crosswalks. Weather permitting, this project is estimated to take one week to complete.
During this period, residents may experience alterations to traffic patterns on East Drive. Please rest assured that DPWT will diligently manage the traffic flow to minimize disruptions throughout construction. Our Arbutus route may see some delays due to this work. We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation during this time. Our priority is to enhance safety and traffic conditions in the area, and we appreciate your patience as we work towards achieving this goal.
To facilitate a smooth communication process, we request your assistance in sharing this information with other retrievers, neighbors, friends, and local businesses. Your support in spreading awareness will contribute to a more informed and prepared community.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding the upcoming construction, please contact our Transit office at 410.455.2454. Your feedback is valuable, and we are committed to ensuring a positive experience for everyone involved.
Safe Travels,
Transit Team
