Dear Retrievers and our Valued Riders,
We wanted to let you know about significant changes to our Downtown Route. Due to the ongoing construction projects at the UMB Medical Center and continued congestion on I-95 due to the Key Bridge Collapse, we have adjusted the schedule and direction of the Downtown Route. These modifications will bypass these construction zones and enhance our on-time performance.
Secondly, we are thrilled to announce that our revised Downtown Route will now include a stop at The Lion Brothers Building. This new addition is made possible through our ongoing feedback process and partnerships across campus. To that end, we've partnered with the College of Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences; these changes also provide safer access to the Downtown route for students living in the Hollins Market, Poppleton, and Washington Village/Pigtown Communities; this is a testament to our commitment to expanding access and convenience when possible for our community. We hope this new stop will make your commute safer, more convenient, and more enjoyable.
So that you know, we are in the process of having bus stop signs manufactured and installed at these new locations. Please use the following map in the Transit App to find where these stops are located. The new stops are as follows:
