Due to the passing snowstorm, UMBC’s main campus will open at 10 AM on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. UMBC Transit will begin service at 8:30 AM, with the first bus departing campus at 9:00 AM.
First Bus Departures:
- Paradise – 9:00 AM
- Downtown – 9:00 AM
- Arbutus – 9:00 AM
- Catonsville – 9:00 AM
- Route 40 – 9:00 AM
- BWI MARC – 9:35 AM

Transit Tips for Safe Travel:
- Dress warmly and prepare for slick surfaces due to potential snow or ice.
- Use the Transit App for real-time bus tracking, and allow extra time when walking to your stop.
- Exercise caution when boarding and avoid running to catch the bus.
