Qurbana on Campus @ UMBC
Join us for this beautiful mass of the Syro-Malabar church!
The Holy Qurbana is the Eucharistic celebration of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church. The Syro-Malabar Catholic Church is one of the 23 Eastern Catholic Rites in full communion with Rome. The Syro-Malabar Rite is the second largest of the Eastern Catholic rites. The Syriac word Qurbana, literally “offering” (cf. Mk 7:10–12), is the preferred term to describe the Eucharistic celebration of the Syro-Malabar Church. The Holy Qurbana heavily focuses on commemorating the ineffable and mysterious offering of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and responding with an offering of unending praise.
