Aerospace Research Talk
Good afternoon, esteemed members!
This Friday, we are delighted to host Dr. Piper, who will be speaking about his journey in the aerospace field and the research projects he has been involved with throughout his career.
Dr. Piper is an Adjunct Professor in the Mechanical Engineering Department at UMBC and brings decades of experience as a Design Engineer. His research focuses on Autonomous Aerospace Systems and Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GNC).
This is an excellent opportunity to gain insight into the scope of research within the aerospace industry and to hear firsthand about the exciting projects he has worked on. It will also be a great platform to seek guidance on how you can get involved in similar research efforts and what the experience is like from someone who has spent years in the field.
We encourage all members interested in aerospace, autonomy, robotics, or research to attend!
