About This Group

UMBC AIAA is the university's branch of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, a professional society for the field of aerospace engineering. 

Our group serves as a focal point for all things aerospace-related. We participate in collegiate aerospace design challenges, host guest speakers from the field, network with industry members, visit aerospace engineering facilities, and much more. No experience is required. We are seeking all majors and all years.
