Once a Retriever, Always a Retriever
Alumni of UMBC are everywhere (even among this group!), and it's important to show how proud we are of our graduates. One way to do that is taking the time to follow alumni notations when we talk about Retrievers near and far. This page has all you need to know about how to notate grad years and majors.

Inclusive Excellence on an Individual Level
UMBC prides itself on being accessible and welcoming to all. So, it's incredibly important to stay up to date on inclusive and affirming language. This page has some of the basics, plus resources beyond to help us all get up to speed on these topics. This page is always evolving, as it should!
