When working on the MEIF grant for CNMS, we were advised by Dean LaCourse to use the term "Professor Biswas" and "Professor Sinha" versus "Dr. Biswas" and "Dr. Sinha" as the term "professor", in academic circles, was considered more honorific. This was directly from Dean LaCourse.
As we look to an event with Interim Dean Kimberly Moffitt, a question arises on the invitation as to whether to refer to her as Dr. Kimberly Moffitt or Professor Kimberly Moffitt?
Does our Style Guide advise?
Thank you,
Stacey
