Roots Event at Goucher Hillel
Wednesday, April 6, 2022 · 7 - 8 PM
Off Campus : Goucher Merrick Hall
Rabbi Hanan is an Orthodox Rabbi and a passionate Zionist settler, having lived most of his life in the West Bank. Silvia Marjeyeh is a trilingual Palestinian Israeli Christian woman who grew up in Dimona, Israel. She was the only Arab child in her school. We invite you to join Silvia and Hanan at Goucher’s Campus as they share their personal, interconnected stories and present the groundbreaking grassroots work of Roots- a nonprofit dedicated to building meaningful connections between Palestinians and Israeli settlers in the West Bank. They do not come with blueprinted plans for peace in hand, but with a deep conviction that human understanding and trust are required for lasting justice, freedom, and peace in the sliver of land they both call home Please RSVP at: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScfwWfMLCUlzPgcEL2HaGwHjauwE02DpxsOumtqmJsBWYMO0w/viewform!
