These questions are as real to us as they were to the ancient Rabbis grappling with the fall of the Second Temple. And they gifted us the Talmud, a rich, revolutionary tradition of facing change with curiosity and wonder.
Join UMBC Hillel for the first edition of our new Beit Midrash series, "Torah for a World on Fire." Hebrew for "house of learning," the beit midrash is a place for studying with new and old friends, wrestling with tradition, and learning from each other. Whether you're a seasoned Torah scholar or you're looking to explore something new, this is the space for you! Dinner will be provided so please RSVP!
