Food Justice with Repair the World
Come learn about food justice and Jewish values
Tuesday, March 31, 2015 · 3:30 - 5:30 PM
Come when you can. Learn about food justice and why it is important for us as Jewish people.
We are having a casual pickling/make your own kimchi workshop (kimchi is a delicious veggie dish). You can take it with you! We will also incorporate a discussion of shmita, sabbatical, rest, and surplus.
What is food justice, you might ask? It's the right of communities everywhere to produce, distribute, access, and eat good food regardless of race, class, gender, ethnicity, citizenship, ability, religion, or community.
