UMBC Mock Trial is having a WINTER WITNESS TRYOUT!! We know this is a difficult time for actors and we're hoping that some of you will be interested in joining our team. While Mock Trial and Theater might not seem like a perfect mix, Mock Trial actually has a huge acting component. Half of the points in every trial are scored by our witnesses, who take on complex characters with detailed backstories.
We need people who can portray a powerful and memorable character through Zoom. You'll get to perform at least twice every weekend you compete, and every round is recorded in case you want to use that footage for a future audition. We'll teach you everything else you need to know!
