Maxine Tracy Wellness Room (Women's Center Lactation Room)

The Women's Center is the home to the first lactation room on campus and is now called the Maxine Tracy Wellness Room.

Any student, staff, or faculty may take advantage of this safe, quiet, and private space to express milk. The Women's Center also has a mini fridge available for moms to store their milk over the course of the day.

This room can also be used for those needing it to pray or meditate.

For more information about using the space, making reservations, or how to access the space when the Women's Center is closed but The Commons is open, contact the Women's Center staff at 410-455-2714 or womenscenter@umbc.edu
