Ms. C. Cowden (Library Area) provided us with a fine example of how not to win the URCAD Selfie Contest on April 12, 2023.

"While there is technically nothing wrong with Ms. Cowden's selfie, she is masked and seems to have ears and antlers that she does not have in real life," said a well-known selfie critic who refused to be identified.
"I thought it was a good effort," noted Cowden, a longtime UMBC employee and music enthusiast, who submitted her selfie by telefax early this morning. "I'm not sure why I have those fake ears and antlers but people do that, right? They add animal parts? I think it's legal, right?"
Nevertheless, this is a salient example of how not to take a selfie.
Ms. Cowden still has time, however, to submit a second attempt and she could still win one of several fabulous prizes. Here's how:
