Astronomical Research and Instrumentation at Texas A&M
Paid summer research for undergraduate students
Students will conduct astronomical research with faculty and research staff, participate in weekly seminars and group discussions, and attend an observing trip to McDonald Observatory.

Eligibility
-At least two years of undergraduate coursework in Physics, Astronomy, or Engineering
-Under-represented minorities and women are especially encouraged

Duration: 10 weeks
Stipend: $5,000

- the Milky Way galaxy
- extrasolar planets
- designing and building astronomical instrumentation to support these fields of research
