University Steering Committee

The University Steering Committee (USC) is the hub of shared governance at UMBC. Bringing together leaders from six representative bodies, the USC ensures smooth coordination across campus and advocates for our community with leadership at UMBC and the University System of Maryland. The committee periodically reviews our governance structures to keep them working well for everyone and can call joint meetings whenever urgent issues come up.
