The Quantum Leap Career Nexus (QLCN) is a premier, global networking, recruitment, and mentorship workshop for careers in the quantum industry. We bring quantum organizations together to meet with undergraduate and graduate students, postdocs, and early career professionals. We will provide virtual career and skill development workshops for attendees to make sure they get the most value out of the main, in-person career workshop on September 12, 2024 at the University of Maryland.
The growth of quantum information science and technology has created demand for a workforce to serve industry, government, and academia. Our driving principles will be to promote a diverse workforce, engage future leaders across disciplinary boundaries, and bring together local, regional, national, and global organizations for meaningful workforce development interactions to accelerate the quantum enterprise.
This workshop is supported by the Institute of Robust
Quantum Simulation (RQS), a five-year National Science Foundation (NSF)
grant.
