UMBC is excited to join the International Career Collective (ICC), connecting our students with global career opportunities and resources. Through this partnership, UMBC students can access international career events, professional development workshops, and valuable networking opportunities.
The On the Road Event below is our first opportunity for students to get involved.
Join the Career Center and Center for Global Engagement to visit the Hopkins Bloomberg Center in Washington, DC. for the Enhancing Global Employability in STEAM Fields event.

TRANSPORTATION:
Transportation is provided, but a RSVP is required in Handshake. You will receive
confirmation of your registration prior to the trip date. Transit will meet us in the Circle BEHIND the RAC. Space is
limited to 25 MAX, so register by Tuesday, October 8! First come, first serve.
IMPORTANT NOTE: RSVP only if you can attend. If you do not attend and have not cancelled your reservation 48 hours prior to the event date, your student account will be charged $25 to cover expenses incurred by the Career Center.

- Topics: Regional employment trends, cultural considerations, visa and work permit processes, practical tips on international job search, cultural considerations for different countries, effective networking strategies
